Rabbits Showmanship

Open Show for youth ages Pee Wee 7 & Under,   8 & Over

1.  Open Market Rabbit (not eligible for auction, open to all market rabbits for competition only)
2. Rabbits will be shown and judged on a judging table
3. showmanship classes will be judged on cage appearance condition of animal and handling skills of exhibitor
4. Exhibitor is responsible for supplying feed, water, bowls and bedding for their rabbits.  The exhibitor is also responsible for keeping  their rabbit’s area clean and ensuring their animal is fed and watered. Duchesne County Livestock Show will provide rabbit cages.
5. Rabbits should be free of all disease symptoms.  Rabbits showing signs of disease will not be allowed to show.  Rabbits showing signs of sickness may be pulled at any time during the show by the Rabbit chairperson only and at the chairperson’s discretion.   Any rabbit with symptoms of disease MUST BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED from the barn.

Poultry Showmanship

Open show for ages Pee Wee 7 & under, 8 & over

1.  Exhibitor is responsible for supplying feed, water, bowls, and bedding for their poultry.   The exhibitor is also responsible for keeping their birds area clean and ensuring their animal is fed and watered.  Duchesne County Fair Jr Livestock Show will provide poultry cages.
2. Poultry NOT eligible for auction, open to all chickens for competition only
3.  All youth must be present for judging of their birds
4. Poultry will be judged by American Poultry Association standards
5. All birds must be in good health, free of parasites, in presentable condition and clean.
6. Exhibitor must have an entry form completed online at duchesnecountyfair.fairentry.com
